Before building a platform, it was necessary to structure the program's own journey.
Context
Sebrae's Center of Excellence in Entrepreneurial Education (CER Sebrae) idealized the Entrepreneurial School Journey, a national program created to encourage schools to incorporate entrepreneurial education as an institutional development strategy.
At the time of the project, the initiative existed only as a concept. There was no visual identity, digital platform, or structured experience that would allow managers to understand how to participate in the journey and track their progress toward achieving the seal.
The challenge was to transform this vision into a digital ecosystem capable of communicating the program, guiding participants, and supporting process management for both institutions and CER Sebrae itself.
The Challenges
The project needed to serve audiences with very different needs.
For school managers, it was necessary to clearly explain how the Escola Empreendedora Journey worked, encourage participation, and provide an area where they could track their institution's progress, access diagnostics, view certifications, and complete all steps required to earn the seal.
For the CER Sebrae team, the challenge was to develop an administrative area capable of managing thousands of institutions, tracking their evolution in the journey, consulting diagnostics, managing certifications, and updating all program-related materials annually.
Beyond functional complexity, there was another important challenge: since the project didn't yet exist publicly, all visual identity and experience needed to be built from scratch, establishing consistent language across all product interfaces.
The Approach
Since the initiative was still in the conception phase, the Design process began with understanding the program, CER Sebrae's strategic objectives, and the needs of different user profiles.
Qualified Research
i held meetings and interviews with CER Sebrae's Innovation team to understand how the Journey worked, certification rules, administrative processes, and the platform's long-term objectives.
these meetings made it possible to structure the product architecture before beginning interface design.
Branding
in addition to the digital product, the project also required creating a unique visual identity for Escola Empreendedora Journey.
this identity guided all platform communications, ensuring consistency across the landing page, internal areas, and institutional materials.
Design System
to maintain visual unity and accelerate the development of different interfaces, i developed a shared Design System across the Landing Page, Manager Area, and administrative panel.
Prototyping
all platform flows were detailed in high-fidelity prototypes, including the institutional Landing Page, the Manager Area, and the CER Sebrae administrative panel.
The Solution
The project was structured into three complementary experiences.
Landing Page
The Landing Page was developed to present the program, explain how the Escola Empreendedora Journey works, and encourage school managers to join.
To visually represent the journey, I developed an illustration inspired by the classic Game of Life. Instead of the traditional car, the journey is taken by a school bus, guiding the user through different stages until reaching the final goal: earning the Escola Empreendedora Seal.
This visual metaphor helped communicate a complex process in a more intuitive, playful, and memorable way.
Manager Area
The Manager Area was designed to make the journey's evolution easily understandable.
Right on the home page, managers can see which milestones have been completed and which ones are still pending.
Throughout the journey, users access specific features, such as the Entrepreneurship Education Radar, which diagnoses the institution's maturity level, and CER Stories, a space dedicated to sharing entrepreneurial practices developed by schools.
Beyond tracking the journey, the platform also allows users to review previous diagnoses and access certifications earned across different program cycles.
Administrative Area
The admin dashboard was built to give CER Sebrae a centralized view of program operations.
Through it, it's possible to manage administrators and registered institutions, track each school's progress through the journey, access diagnoses, review practices shared in CER Stories, and oversee the entire certification lifecycle.
The platform also enables the registration of new certificates, sets validity periods, and manages official files—including digital certificates, badges, and other materials made available to participating institutions.

Results and Learnings
The project was fully prototyped and delivered to CER Sebrae.
However, due to the institution's strategic decision, the platform hasn't been launched yet.
Even without the product's implementation, this was one of the most comprehensive projects in my career, bringing together Branding, Product Design, UX, UI, Design System, and information architecture into a single initiative.
It also reinforced how critical it is to build digital products from a deep understanding of the business. When the service itself is still being structured, Design moves beyond interface work and contributes directly to defining the experience, communication, and how the product will be perceived by its future users.
